Detecting bolts
A bolt must be in a precisely defined position before a workpiece is processed by a robot. OGL angled light barriers are the optimal solution in narrow installation situations. These angled light barriers, which are open on two sides, have an easily visible LED light spot. The OGL is positioned at the target position of the workpiece. When the light beam is interrupted by the workpiece, the fork light barrier switches with an accuracy of a few hundredths of a millimeter. In addition to the good reproducibility, the robust design is also an advantage.
